Due to the lack of response to the AC and Plotting meme we mods have been talking. We are thinking of turning our fair game into a lightly moderated musebox. The environment wouldn't change, people could tag when they want, and if you need shadows we mods can supply them and the Queen if needed. Plots would be completely player run and have very little limitations besides no destroying the castle or leaving it for now.

Hello all Castle Dwellers. Time for our Bi-monthly Activity Check. Now it's a simple affair so I'm just gonna lay it out nice and standard for everyone. You fill out the little text box below with your name, your character(s) name(s), their journal(s), and if you can give a slight plot summary of what they've been up to. Hey there, Castle! How ya'll doing tonight? Good?

Because I've got some nightmare fuel to add to the mix.

I usually go by Eco, and I'm ~~forcefully dragging against his will~~ bringing in a rather... different version of Alister Azimuth, from Ratchet and Clank. 'Different' as in... well.

Yyyyeah.

So he's from a world, or part of a species I should say, that fought against these nasty creatures known as the Cragmites. When only one was left and grew up to pretty much completely screw them over, and instead of escaping off the planet for twenty years or so, he was killed.

But he got better! By another race of these steampunk-like junk collectors that had quite a bit of time on their hands. So now he's alive, as a half-organic, half-junk freak of nature that's... kind of having difficulty with speech. He communicates with gestures and steam-hisses more than anything else, but still can croak out a few sensible words if he tries hard enough.

I know it all sounds a little weird and complicated, so questions can always be directed at me if there's any confusion! Thanks for having me aboard. ♥

Oh, and I apologize for the lack of icons for the moment. I'm working on trying to get him a paid.;;

Weather's getting bad, folks. This week we're having some nasty weather rolling in running from Tuesday until the next over the weekend.

After the storm we'll be revealing the Pigeons, and note that the phones will short out during this time.

Here's the itinerary.

Tuesday

The calm before the storm. There's a nice breeze to offset the increased humidity.

Wednesday

The characters will notice that it's cloudier than normal today; the sun is being blocked out every few moments by fluffy white cotton ball clouds. It's just like a semi-cloudy day at the beach, nice and balmy with wind gusts up to 35 MPH.

Thursday:

The day starts off with sporadic showers all through the morning, culminating with a short but heavy downpour shortly after noon. After that the skies clear up, and they remain that way on through the evening.

Friday-Monday

The sun is glaring harshly down on the castle, today, scattering the mists only to reveal a dark, intimidating bank of clouds on the horizon. Strong breezes and powerful gusts of wind proceed the clouds, growing stronger as the storm approaches.

The storm finally strikes on Friday afternoon, weak at first but growing stronger as the day passes. Expect thunder, lightning, frequent rain, periodic hail, and mild flooding in the outdoor areas. It rages through the evening and on into Saturday. There's a brief calm Saturday afternoon at the eye of the storm passes over the castle, but it only lasts a few hours before the storm continues on its way.

The storm hits its peak at dawn on Sunday, the wind howling throughout the castle and the rain coming down in sheets. It calms after several hours, but still rages on through Monday.

Tuesday

The storm is finally moving on, the rain fading away into a drizzle as the clouds go on their merry way. The thunder can be heard rumbling in the distance for several hours, but the storm seems to be gone for good.

Aftermath

The skies have cleared and the water has receded, but the damage still remains. The winds have knocked fruit, branches, and leaves off the trees, and several of the trees themselves have been felled by the storm. There are shallow puddles under almost all of the open windows, and the wind has located most objects that were left outside.

Hello Castleites. This is Tsumi and this entry is for our new post for all of you. This is your custom room creation station. This entry is for you guys to create and submit rooms for the castle for us Mods to approve. The castle, as seen in ICO and the novel is not the complete castle, there is a lot of "blank canvas" so to speak. And we want you guys to help fill it in.

The castle map and a walk through is available on our wiki for those who want to look at it. There are doors and elevators and other things never explored in the castle through Ico's adventure as you will see and we mods can't fill in all the holes ourselves. This game is as much yours as it is ours so let's build it up~

Below will be a text box with some simple questions. Just fill it out, using decent detail to give us a good idea of the answers to the questions, and we will either approve it, ask for a few changes, or reject it. Keep it in period for the castle and make sure it isn't too large. The entire island is up for grabs through so feel free to explore any catacombs you guys want to invent.

This is also part of an announcement. Several areas of the castle are going to be blocked off to get to for now and I'm announcing them here. The piping area underneath the castle where the light sword is is one of them. The other is the Queen's throne room. Besides that, it's all up for grabs. Have fun~

I've just kind of come to the realization that being in five games is just a lot more stress than it is fun for me, and so, I need to make myself feel a little better. I've been ridiculously slow here ever since I started with Polka, even, and I haven't felt motivated to do anything at all for quite a while.

Hello everyone, Tsumi-Mod here.

This past month we had two polls and I am here now to give you all the results.

The first poll was about the phones and if we should continue to use them or switch to something more period. The votes were tallied and the winner was the Pidgeon's option. We muns are coming up with e plot relevant way to bring about the change. Those voicemail posts everyone has will be changed upon the change into message receiving posts. Before the change is brought into the game ICly we will post a more in depth description of how this will all work for your characters, so be on the lookout for that.

The second poll had to do with our AC and HMD meme issue. So the results are as follows.

Staring next month the Activity Check will be mandatory to respond to but it will only be a check in basis type AC. As in you just tag in with links to the journals of the characters you are keeping once every other month. Easy.

The HMD meme will still be used but not mandatory. And by vote the replies will not be all anon but we mods highly encourage constructive critic of your fellow players. We're all here to have fun and improve our skills after all. So let's all just help each other on both fronts, yes?

Hello everyone. Earlier today I posted an Activity Check change and realize now, thanks to the players and fellow mods, it was a foolish thing to do to all of you. I sprung it on you all and I really didn't mean to. To me it seemed like a good idea and I apologize.

Real life hasn't been kind to me lately and it impaired my judgment. Life just got in the way of me thinking clearly about this and I should have been more on my game as Head Mod. And for that I apologize to everyone. I am deeply sorry for this and I hope you can all forgive me.

In the spirits of making this right I'm issuing another poll. This one will be taking place until the 30th and this month we will be forgoing AC and the HMD meme in place of this. As there was the idea to change how we conduct activity checks and the HMD meme I think we should all look at it together and find out how we want to do it. So below you will find a multiquestion poll addressing the issue.

The questions should hopefully be self explanatory but I can answer any questions about it here, on the mod plurk, or my own. I want to know how often you the players want these things, which one should be mandatory, and how we should run them. Miku, however, is a character I have found that I can somehow integrate into even the weirdest of environments, so I'm really hoping that'll ring true here in the Castle, because I really enjoy playing her and I really enjoy playing with you guys! c: ♥

duomaxwell ) and Vocaloid Haku Yowane (

sakedrinking ), bringing you the most sarcastic of meat lovers with a sword, Sokka from Avatar: The Last Airbender.

He comes from the very end of the series, directly after the last episode, unfortunately with his leg still broken and currently missing his beloved Space Sword (which he'll probably ask for from the fountain as soon as he realizes how messed up and dangerous this place is), so he might be a little gimpy and on the helpless side for a while.

But he's as smart as he is snarky and a great strategist so he's not going to let something as annoying as a broken leg keep him down for long!

They say dreams are a window into the soul. Desires, needs, ideas and fears, the things that make a person can often play themselves out in their dreams, but what is also very telling is their memories. The big events which shape a person. The ones that leave an impact. Harth knew those kinds of memories, he'd lived them all in his dream ever since he was very small. Every little key moment in the slayer's life, every battle, he lived through.

It's disconcerting, living among those you barely know with barely any knowledge on who they are. Perhaps he was so used to living with lurks who were completely loyal to him and his cause? Or perhaps he's just curious. Either way, he's cooking up some trouble for his castle-mates.

Plot details

Harth is casting a spell that will enable him to visit the dreams of others at night and explore their subconscious. He'll be able to watch unhindered and unnoticed, even be able to influence how the dreams progress be it better or preferably for worse. Call it a morbid fascination with dreams on his part, but the boy does need a hobby.

The dreams can be anything you want them to be, Harth will merely observe and learn about them. If you can get away with anything with dream related powers this would be the time to do it as well.

However, there are some side effects.

In the waking world, day dreaming and memories will become far more real, like they're reliving their memories, good or bad. They'll notice immediately, when the castle walls melt away and are replaced by the same environment they were in during that time. Nobody else will be able to see it unless they come in physical contact with that person who will be able to see it but probably won't be able to stop it.

Another potential side effect is that if someone does come in contact with someone during a triggered memory they may be forced to experience it themselves, or have one of the initial individuals memories transferred over for the second person to experience.

In Summery

-Harth is spying on your dreams. Those who he spies on will be prone to reliving their memories in their waking time which he will also be able to observe without their knowledge.
-Those who relive their memories can transfer that memory or others to another person via touch.
-You can relive your own characters memories or the memories of others.
-You have complete freedom over how this is played, thread wise or upon request I can make a mingle thread.

This plot is completely optional and will run from the 9th-12th of March.
