Due to the lack of response to the AC and Plotting meme we mods have been talking. We are thinking of turning our fair game into a lightly moderated musebox. The environment wouldn't change, people could tag when they want, and if you need shadows we mods can supply them and the Queen if needed. Plots would be completely player run and have very little limitations besides no destroying the castle or leaving it for now.

The poll will run for the next two weeks, from today until June 16th. Thank you.

Hello everyone, Tsumi-Mod here.

This past month we had two polls and I am here now to give you all the results.

The first poll was about the phones and if we should continue to use them or switch to something more period. The votes were tallied and the winner was the Pidgeon's option. We muns are coming up with e plot relevant way to bring about the change. Those voicemail posts everyone has will be changed upon the change into message receiving posts. Before the change is brought into the game ICly we will post a more in depth description of how this will all work for your characters, so be on the lookout for that.

The second poll had to do with our AC and HMD meme issue. So the results are as follows.

Staring next month the Activity Check will be mandatory to respond to but it will only be a check in basis type AC. As in you just tag in with links to the journals of the characters you are keeping once every other month. Easy.

The HMD meme will still be used but not mandatory. And by vote the replies will not be all anon but we mods highly encourage constructive critic of your fellow players. We're all here to have fun and improve our skills after all. So let's all just help each other on both fronts, yes?

Hello everyone. Earlier today I posted an Activity Check change and realize now, thanks to the players and fellow mods, it was a foolish thing to do to all of you. I sprung it on you all and I really didn't mean to. To me it seemed like a good idea and I apologize.

Real life hasn't been kind to me lately and it impaired my judgment. Life just got in the way of me thinking clearly about this and I should have been more on my game as Head Mod. And for that I apologize to everyone. I am deeply sorry for this and I hope you can all forgive me.

In the spirits of making this right I'm issuing another poll. This one will be taking place until the 30th and this month we will be forgoing AC and the HMD meme in place of this. As there was the idea to change how we conduct activity checks and the HMD meme I think we should all look at it together and find out how we want to do it. So below you will find a multiquestion poll addressing the issue.

The questions should hopefully be self explanatory but I can answer any questions about it here, on the mod plurk, or my own. I want to know how often you the players want these things, which one should be mandatory, and how we should run them. Please respond by the 30th and please everyone respond so we can implement any changes next month. Thank you all for your time. Without further ado, here is the poll.

Hello Castle Dwellers!

This is Tsumi, your new Head-mod here at Castle. Kiki has stepped down to Co-mod due to Real Life issues and will still be here with us. So this isn't a massive change, just a change in some finer points and mod arrangement.

So as your new Head-mod, if you need me you can contact me via one of the following three ways;

Imp and Kiwi are also still Co-mods and will be helping me with more plots and other ideas. There may be a few changes coming up but nothing too huge. Just small things to help the game run more smoothly.

The first to be on the look out for will be a new Taken Page. The current Taken Page will be converted into a Contact List page and the new page should be up sometime soon. All other changes will be announced first so we can share links and get feedback.

Also! Please welcome our new HTML and Plots Co-mod; Kate who plays our lovely AU! Quatre

shadeofawinner. She is going to be helping us with planning more plots and educating the rest of us mods on more complex HTML.

The results are in and three new helper mods have been hired on! Please welcome Tsumi, Imp, and Kiwi to the mod team!

Tsumi is our fantastic Ratchet (

last_lombax) and Hermit (

broke_the_world) player! He'll be helping me out with everything related to the plot and setting of Castle, as well as player plots. Say hello! The best way to contact Tsumi is via the AIM name tseutsumi.

Imp has been here since day one with AU1 Duo Maxwell (

stillshinigami), and recently applied for Harth (

herotherhalf). Imp will be assisting with maintenance of our assorted lists -- the taken page, the calendar, the drops and hiatus pages, etc. The best way to get in touch with her is through the AIM name impiouspilot.

Finally, Kiwi! Kiwi plays Kadar (

kaderp) and Seishirou (

oversmiling) and will be playing the role of 'backup mod'. She'll be covering whatever Imp, Tsumi, or I can't. The best way to get in touch with her is through the AIM name andwinterfell.

Now that I have assistants, I will be taking care of everything that these three aren't. As a basic rundown, I'll primarily be in charge of applications, the overall plot and setting, player relations, the FAQ, and being a merciless taskmaster.

Though we each have our own specific tasks, all four of us will have a hand in basically every aspect of the game. Feel free to contact any of us with any comments, questions, or concerns!
